Please pray for my marriage. My husband is an alcoholic and is very depressed. He does not want us to divorce but I cannot tolerate his excessive drinking and hope that one day I can get through this difficult time.

Every now and then I come back to visit this site. Just to see what kind of comments are on here. I understand the pain everyone is facing as I am facing it myself but God is so much bigger than all of this. I figure if another guy can post a comment advertising his book then i’ll do a post on marriage restoration. I’m not going to go into theology here but remember God is so big that restoration is possible no matter how bad it has gotten. There is help out there from people who have survived divorce not by recovery but by restoration. rejoiceministries.org has testimony after testimony of God healing marriages even after adultery, abuse, or subsequent marriage relationships. Your marriage is a covenant. I encourage everyone to pray and seek the Lord for his answers and not the answers of man. No marriage is hopeless. What God has done for one, he can do for all.
