Jackie,

Your post was great... At church today that is almost exactly what was discussed. Sometimes one spouse is the only thing that resembles Jesus in a relationship and given time it could change the other person's heart. In many instances it does.

At times it is hard to rest on the assurance that God will complete the good work He started when we may not see the end result of comprehend it but it sounds like you are doing a pretty darn good job.

My husband is in love with another women. I loved him, he was my best friend. We will be married for 14 years in May. We are still married and have been seperated for 5 months. I'm waiting for him to serve me divorce papers anytime. The affair went on for a year prior to my leaving. Leaning and looking to God, I tried to make it work but my husband didnt want it to work. So after much prayer and trusting in God I was lead to leave. The biggest struggle for me is walking in forgivness and unconditional love. This is difficult and there are many days that it feels like I am loosing the battle. But I have settled it in my mind that God is in charge and God will win this battled. I will trust Him to work ALL things for my good no matter how this turns out. God always reminds me that I may be the only Jesus my husband see's so I will strive to continue to walk in love and see him through God's eyes. His Word says, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. He has good plans for me. And I love this, I am made in the image of the Most High God!
Jesus knows a whole lot about rejection and injustice yet He did not sin, He continued to love even unto death. He was victorious...I'm hurting but because my hope is in the Most High God, I'm gonna be victorious too! Praise God! I am thankful for this encouraging website :)

I believe God makes changes in our lives that can serve to make us better people.

My divorce seemed like such a terrible thing, but it allowed me to do things I've always wanted to do. It allowed me to fix some problems I had, become a better person, do community service and get healthier as well.

Sure the divorce split up our family, but many of these relationships got better and I've had the pleasure of meeting other people too.

Many mysterious ways, God does have!

God Bless all, Brian
