My husband of 8 years moved out October 30th, just 29 days after his grown children moved out of our home. I didn’t say anything, thinking he needed his space to think about things and get his priorities together. He has since been awarded a HUGE settlement in a malpractice suit involving the death of his then-17 year-old son. Now that he has the money, he has no use for me. He has filed for divorce and is planning to have me served with papers today. I am devastated. I love my husband and don’t want this. I have not been blameless in this marraige, and have done some things to help drive him away. However, I want this marraige to work. I don’t want to go through another divorce. Please pray for my husband’s heart, and for the bitter root that has grown in my heart.

O know that you know the bitterness will destroy you. from biblical counsel:
YOU take your husbands’ pain and pay the penalty for it. Can he ever pay you back for this pain he’s caused you? YOU pay for it, as Jesus paid for ours. The result, forgiveness from the bottom of your heart. SEe Jesus alongside of you when you are hurting badly. What would he have you do at that moment? FORGIVE, in His power. Daily. Seriously, I know your feelings. Seek sisters
to pray with and unload, but do NOT BLAME,,, Let Jesus take you to His cross where it all lies……..
Confess your part it in all… Be wrapped in His forgiving arms…
YOUR heart needs healing from the Only Healer in the Universe. then you/we can trust HIM to deal with our spouses who are in desperate need of forgiveness themselves..
