Greg, your post scared me because I too have been seperated but for 4 months. I can't seem to get over my feelings for her, we aren't divorced yet and she is engaged to someone else! I fear I will not be able to move on from her after 12 years of marriage and 4 years from now I pray I willl not feel the same as I do now. Everyone says get over her she has no feelings for you which should be obvious but no one knows why or how I could feel as i do. I'm devastated and hurt also and I can't tell u how to get past her either but if I find a way ill let u know...God help us both ! Tim

Greg, God doesn't want us living in the past... we should be looking to the future and becoming what He has for us. Forgive your ex and start telling yourself you are over her. You are deserving of meeting a wonderful person but it isn't going to happen, or at least not be healthy until you let go of the past. Instead of asking God to help you everyday, believe that He already has! For some reason you aren't letting go. I don't think it is necessary to find the reason however admitting there is one and just letting it go. Tomorrow is a new day and if you start to feel down tell yourself you are over her! Remind yourself that God has plans for you and you need to keep your eyes open for what they are. In the mean time get involved helping others to take your mind off of self. You are strong and deserving so start living and receive the peace that God has for you this very moment.
