I know what you are going through. My husband and I are married for 14 years in September. 3 weeks ago he told me that he is in love with his Ex who is also married. She will not leave her husband so my husband thinks the right thing will be to date again. He convinced himself that he does not love me and never did. It is heartbreaking, but I learned to lean on God and I won't let anyone steal the joy I have in God. Wish you all the best.

Thank you all for your prayers and advice. I'm much better now than what I was, thanks to the Lord. I leave it all ( emotions, feelings, divorce problems, life problems) in Gods hands. The Lord is good and should be praised. I pray that you all be blessed and I pray for all the prayer request on this site. Thank you Jason for making this site for me and others.

Mark,
I know your pain and I will say a prayer for you. God will always be there..remember that.
May God take care of you and hold your hand as you walk this journey.

Mark,
I've been separated from my ex-husband for a year and 10 months and divorced for 7 months. My ex-husband left me for the same reasons than your wife. For 8 years I trusted the Lord would restore my marriage. My husband was hooked on drugs. After a few months of being separated, I found out he was with another woman. I allowed the Lord to heal my broken heart. My life is completely different now. I am enjoying so many things I took for granted when I was with him. I was so focused on him that I forgot to enjoy the wonderful things God had for me like my family, friends and most important, my relationship with the Lord. If you allow Jesus, he will embrace you with his love and a peace which surpasses all understanding. Divorce is one of the most terrible trials a person can go through I'm a living example that that God can turn what the devil meant for evil so something good.

Mark, even though I was not married nearly as long as you were my wife left for many of the same reasons. I just could not understand. I hear that the first 7 years of marriage are the hardest but from the requests I get I don't see that being the pattern.

I simply can't comprehend losing someone that I have spent so many years with as you and yours... I don't even know what to say.

I guess the solutuion is still the same. We run to God and live by his mercy and grace.

God Bless You
