I will pray for you and I like where you want to go. Sometimes it seems harder than it is and I was there, heck every now and again I find myself feeling some of the same emotions. I used to struggle with thoughts all day long that were angry and bitter and what I had to do was make a conscious effort to change my way of thinking. The more I tried to not be angry the angrier I got. I found that if I focussed not on being angry but on being happy then things worked out better. Does that make sense? What I am trying to say is to break the negetivity in your life you need to focus on the things that bring you joy. Dismiss thoughts that are negative quickly... instead of letting them play through in your head, you know what I mean? I would just say here you go God and I would then turn my thoughts to seeing Madalyn (5 year old) running down the sidewalk. She is a great runner and it brings smile to my face.

So here is an action step... On a piece of paper start writing down things everyday that are beautiful, bring you joy, etc. do this especially when you feel like you are slipping into that negative state. Thank God for those things and force a smile on your face and try to hold it. Soon you will be cracking yourself up because you feel like a bit of a dork. But then again that may just be me. :-)
