After 13yrs of marriage and two children my best friend’s husband, Ronnie, has filed for divorce & moved out of their home. He has found a woman that is a “friend” to him and has made it so easy for him to turn his back on his family. My friend Nydia is devistated & we have been praying but she is growing weary and is hurting so much. She did not want this, but she feels like she doesn’t have a choice so she agreed to get a lawyer and draw up paper work.They will be going to court on Aug. 23 to finalize the divorce. We dont know what else to do and we just need some prayer. Thank you in advance for your time and prayer

Father of all creation, I come before you to stand in the gap for Nydia. Abba you know all things! And I would ask that you would O great king ease her heartbreak as she goes through this season in her life. We know that we live in perilous times and that the accuser of the brethren is savagely attacking marriages. Abba I not only pray for Nydia but for Ronnie also. I pray that you would send him a godly man after your own heart. I pray that thy truth would reach his ears that are the doorway to his heart and for him to realize that your love can heal any wound and uncover any lie.
I pray for spiritual wisdom and understanding for Nydia as stated in Colossians 1:9, we claim this over her father. You are Abba a God of new beginnings and I pray that you would send her new dreams and that they would come to pass Lord. I pray a hedge of protection over her and the family. I ask father that you would keep the lies of the enemy at bay, until such time she is strong enough to rebuke them in thy name. God of heaven and earth I ask you O lord that in her moment of trial, you would comfort her and that she would know that you count every tear from her eyes and that there will be an accounting one day for each of them.
We praise thy name on high Lord in good times and now during our trials, for you are worthy of all praise may all glory be given to you abba.
