I’ve mentioned before how I started WalkingTheChristianLife.com; it was a way for me to express myself and let out how I was feeling. It was a way for me to process the different things I was going through even if I did not fully understand what was going on. This website has been a work in process for many years now growing as I grow, at least I hope I am growing.
Online journaling is healing for me, and it makes me consider the situations I encounter with the end result in mind. For example, I no longer just say, “I am angry.” I try to figure out why lessons learned, and how this can help others. Publishing this website has done more than help me to grow but it has brought new people into my life. I feel we all have a purpose; a holy mission and there is a reason for everything that happens.
If any of you are doing online journaling, I would be interested in knowing more. I am not sure how I will post the list, but I would like to compile a list of Christian related resources from visitors.
For those of you that don’t have a website but would like to, I am here to tell you that it is easy to set up and there are several options. Blogging is the way to go and millions are doing it. You can set up a free WordPress Blog or Google Blogger but if you think that someday you might want to have more control over the look and feel of your blog along with monetizing it you may want to check into getting a hosting plan. When I started, I was able to get everything I needed for under $100 a year. I feel someone can always benefit from another person’s story and journaling really is healing so give it a try. Here are a couple webhosting companies that are really good – Hostgator and IX Webhosting
